Evolving the Connecting Power of Music

SONOS engaged IA Collaborative to uncover and define new opportunities for how people can move music around the home, including outdoors. Immersing ourselves in the home environments of modern music lovers who entertain both inside and in outdoor spaces, we observed their behaviors around key “sound occasions” and uncovered not just what they said they wanted in a home sound solution, but what their actions told us they would actually use. Based on these key insights, IA defined the strategy for the evolution of a connected music and home audio platform that led to a series of connected solutions beginning with the SONOS PLAYBASE and content partners.
